Talks to Local Groups and Societies

PLEASE NOTE: I'M UNABLE TO TAKE BOOKINGS FOR TALKS ETC AT PRESENT. 


I am available to give talks, for a reasonable fee, to local societies within travelling distance of home (Northampton), which is broadly Northamptonshire, north Oxfordshire, north-west Bedfordshire, south Leicestershire, south-east Warwickshire and north Buckinghamshire.  I have the following already prepared.

"A Day in the Life of Time Team"  - A behind-the-scenes look at the much-loved archaeology TV series

"People and Pots in Medieval Northamptonshire" - The manufacture and use of medieval pottery in the county

"Anglo-Saxon Northamptonshire" - an introduction to the rich archaeology of the period in the county, from villages to palaces

"Carry On Trowelling: Archaeology on Film and TV" - a light-hearted look at the way archaeology has been represented in the visual media since the early 20th century
